For sale is a 1965 Pontiac GTO. This is a very solid (no rust issues), good running driver GTO - not a trailer queen or show car. It has a 400 cubic inch engine out of a 1970 GTO. This engine has been rebuilt about 5,000 miles ago and has been upgraded with headers, Edelbrock intake and carb and a high performance cam. It also has a muncie 4 speed and Hurst shifter and posi rear. The car has power brakes (with disc up front) and power steering. It has a new master cylinder and new rear brake lines and brake cylinders. The engine always runs at 180 degrees with a new radiator and clutch fan.The car originally came with A/C but the A/C components have been removed. There is a new windshield, new interior and new dash with new rally gauges that all work! The only thing that doesnt work on this car is the heater. It is not connected and needs heater hoses, cables to the controls and some wiring. This is my honest rating of this car: Engine and Drive Train 8 - 9 Interior 8 - 9 Frame 8 - 9 Paint 6 - 7 This is a very nice, good running GTO that you can drive and enjoy rather than watching it age in your garage. Must sell - too many toys and not enough room. Asking $17,500 or best reasonable offer. I encourage you to come see this car for yourself. I am advertising and selling this car as a driver - not a show car. If the car had a better paint job I would be asking twice as much.
